WHEREAS, bids were received for the printing of one-thousand (1,000)Beaumont
Visitor's Guides for distribution by the Convention and Tourism Bureau; and,
WHEREAS, Mid South Press,Shreveport, Louisiana,submitted a bid in the amount
of$43,969; and,
WHEREAS,City Council is of the opinion thatthe bid submitted by Mid South Press,
Shreveport, Louisiana, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mid South Press, Shreveport, Louisiana, for the printing of
one-thousand (1,000) Beaumont Visitor's Guides for distribution by the Convention and
Tourism Bureau be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 21st day of
August, 2001.
