BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, bids were received for the replacement of the metal roof system and
the reconditioning and painting of structural steel at the Beaumont Municipal Airport North
Hanger; and,
WHEREAS, Swain Company, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$34,834 for the
replacement of the metal roof system and Civil Constructors submitted a bid in the amount
of $23,872 for the reconditioning and painting of structural steel; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Swain
Company, Inc. in the amount of$34,834 for the replacement of the metal roof system and
Civil Constructors in the amount of$23,872 for the reconditioning and painting of structural
steel, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Swain Company, Inc. in the amount of $34,834 for the
replacement of the metal roof system and Civil Constructors in the amount of$23,872 for
the reconditioning and painting of structural steel be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
