BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, bids were received for a three (3)-year contract to furnish janitorial
services in the buildings located in the Downtown Municipal Complex; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Industrial Contractors, Inc. dba SanServe Building Services,
submitted a bid in the amounts shown below:
$8.71 per hour for a day maid
$9.06 per hour for working foremen
$7.61 per hour for janitors(not to exceed the number of hours and employees as
stated within)
$ 0.20 per square foot for stripping and waxing of vinyl floor tile
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Texas Industrial
Contractors, Inc. dba SanServe Building Services, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Texas Industrial Contractors, Inc. dba SanServe Building
Services for a three (3)-year contract to furnish janitorial services in the buildings located
in the Downtown Municipal Complex in the amounts shown above be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
