WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase and installation of three(3)vertical
mixed flow pumps and reconditioning of existing pumps; and,
WHEREAS, Placo, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$151,570; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Placo, Inc.,
Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Placo, Inc., Beaumont, Texas for the purchase and installation
of three (3) vertical mixed flow pumps and reconditioning of existing pumps in the amount
of $151,570 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of July,
2001.
