WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for the purchase of asphalts,
oils, and emulsions; and,
WHEREAS, Koch Materials Company, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the unit
amounts shown below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Koch Materials
Company, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Koch Materials Company, Houston, Texas, in the unit amounts
shown above for an estimated annual expenditure of $34,960 for an annual contract for
the purchase of asphalts, oils, and emulsions be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of July,
2001.
