RESOLUTION NO. 01-165
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 10,000 feet of polyethylene
pipe; and,
WHEREAS, ACT Pipe and Supply, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the unit
amount of $3.59 per foot for a total expenditure of$35,900; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by ACT Pipe and
Supply, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by ACT Pipe and Supply, Houston, Texas, in the unit amount of
$3.59 per foot for a total expenditure of$35,900 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 10th day of July,
2001.
