WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract for construction of the Crockett Street
Urban Entertainment District (Interlocking Concrete Pavers) Project; and,
WHEREAS, Civil Constructors submitted a bid in the amount of$596,513.91; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Civil
Constructors should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Civil Constructors in the amount of$596,513.91 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute
such contract.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 3rd day of July,
2001.
