WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) cab and chassis trucks
equipped with a refuse collection body and a knuckle boom loader ; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Freightliner, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $243,380 for the purchase of two (2) 2002 Freightliner cab and chassis
equipped with a refuse collection body and knuckle boom loader; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Beaumont
Freightliner, Beaumont, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Beaumont Freightliner, Beaumont, Texas, in the amount of
$243,380 for the purchase of two (2) 2002 Freightliner cab and chassis equipped with a
refuse collection body and knuckle boom loader be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 3rd day of July,
2001.
