WHEREAS, United Rentals, Inc. has agreed to convey by Quitclaim deed a 0.2058
acre tract to the City of Beaumont out of their property, being out of the Annie T. Warren
Subdivision, Jefferson County, Texas, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the conveyance of said property and
is of the opinion that the delivery and receipt of said property is necessary and desirable
and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the said tract of land tendered by United Rentals be and the same is hereby in all
things accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to accept a
Quitclaim Deed for the above-described property.
PASSED BYTHE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19th day of June,
2001.
