WHEREAS, on May 22, 2001, the City Council of the City of Beaumont,
Texas, awarded a contract to J & D Construction in the total amount of $35,700,
or $52.50 per linear foot, for water line services at Walden Road; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of$8,400 is required for a
directional boring project at Walden Road, increasing the contract to$44,100; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order
No. 1 in the amount of$8,400.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 12th
day of June, 2001.
