WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) tractors with front-end
loader and rear-mount backhoe; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Inc., Beaumont,Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of $96,780, and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors,
Inc., Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase of
two (2) New Holland LB75B tractors with front-end loader and rear-mount backhoe in the
amount of$96,780 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
May, 2001.
