WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) tractor with front-end
loader and rear-mounted backhoe; and,
WHEREAS, Rush Equipment Center, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$64,695; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Rush Equipment
Center, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of$64,695 submitted by Rush Equipment Center, Houston,
Texas, for the purchase of two (2) Ford F-750 Super Duty Crew Cab trucks be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
May, 2001.
