WHEREAS, bids were received for a five (5)-year contract for the purchase of regular
unleaded gasoline and No. 2 diesel fuel; and,
WHEREAS, Tri-Con, Inc., submitted a bid in the amounts of:
$0.06 per gallon above the weekly
average price published for the area in
O.P.I.S. for tankwagon delivery of
diesel and unleaded gasoline
® $0.011 per gallon above the weekly
average price published for the area in
O.P.I.S. for transport deliveries of
diesel fuel; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc.,
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc. in the amounts of:
® $0.06 per gallon above the weekly average price published for the area in
O.P.I.S. for tankwagon delivery of diesel and unleaded gasoline
® $0.011 per gallon above the weekly average pricepublished for the
area in O.P.I.S. for transport deliveries of diesel fuel
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the Cit of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
May, 2001.
