WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of three (3) small rubber track
excavators; and,
WHEREAS, CLM Equipment Co., Inc. Nederland, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $134,700; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by CLM Equipment
Co., Inc. Nederland, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by CLM Equipment Co., Inc. Nederland, Texas, in the amounts
of $37,100 for the purchase of one (1) Takeuchi TB 135 excavator and two (2) Takeuchi
TB145 excavators in the amount of $48,800 each for a total of $134,700 should be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
May, 2001.
