WHEREAS,bids were received for the purchase of two(2)2-1/2 ton crew cab trucks
with utility bodies; and,
WHEREAS, Philpott Ford, Port Neches, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$92,242; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Philpott Ford,
Port Neches, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of$92,242 submitted by Philpott Ford, Port Neches, Texas,
for the purchase of two (2) Ford F-750 Super Duty Crew Cab trucks be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1 st day of May,
2001.
