WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) double disc pumps and
existing pump upgrade; and,
WHEREAS, South Western Environmental Equipment Technicians, Dallas, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amount of $46,740; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by South Western
Environmental Equipment Technicians, Dallas, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by South Western Environmental Equipment Technicians, Dallas,
Texas, for the purchase of two (2) double disc pumps and existing pump upgrade in the
amount of $46,740 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1 st day of May,
2001.
