WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and
supplies necessary to construct a new 18.5 acre waste disposal cell at the Landfill in
accordance with Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission(TNRCC)regulations;
and,
WHEREAS, Environmental Specialties International, Inc., Baton Rouge, Louisiana,
submitted a bid in the amount of$1,233,539.14; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Environmental
Specialties International, Inc., should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of $1,233,539.14 submitted by Environmental Specialties
International, Inc., of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for the construction of a new waste disposal
cell at the municipal landfill be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to execute a contract.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
