BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to apply for a grant in the
amount of $608,867 from the Texas Automobile Theft Prevention Authority for FY 2002
operations of the Southeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to execute necessary documents to authorize acceptance of the grant, receive and
disburse grant funds, and to execute interlocal agreements related to the operation of the
Southeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
April, 2001.
