WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and
supplies necessary to construct Phase I of Perlstein Park; and,
WHEREAS, Quality Contract Services, Inc., Bridge City, Texas, submitted a bid in
the amount of$217,798; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Quality Contract
Services, Inc., Bridge City, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of $217,798 submitted by Quality Contract Services, Inc.,
Bridge City, Texas, for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary
to construct Phase I of Perlstein Park be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 10th day of April,
2001.
