WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) 10-ton tandem axle
trailers for use by the Public Works Department, Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Clement of Houston, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $16,630;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Clement of
Houston, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of $16,630 submitted by Clement of Houston, Inc. for the
purchase of two (2) 10-ton tandem axle trailers for use by the Public Works Department,
Water Utilities Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 3rd day of April,
2001.
