WHEREAS, bids were received for a 460-foot long, 24-inch diameter horizontal
directional bore; and,
WHEREAS, J & D Construction, Bronson, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$32,200; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by J & D
Construction, Bronson, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by J &D Construction, Bronson, Texas, for a 460-foot long, 24-
inch diameter horizontal directional bore in the in the amount of$32,200 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20th day of
March, 2001.
