WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of the Blossom, Mary and
Hollywood Street Pavement Improvement Project; and,
WHEREAS, W. B. Construction, LTD submitted a bid in the amount of$462,190.05;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by W. B.
Construction, LTD should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by W. B. Construction, LTD for the construction of the Blossom,
Mary and Hollywood Street Pavement Improvement Project in the amount of$462,190.05
be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract for such project with W. B. Construction, LTD.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20th day of
March, 2001. 19��
