WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for the purchase of water
treatment chemicals; and,
WHEREAS, the following companies submitted bids in the amounts shown below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by the above
companies, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Kahn Chemical, Stafford, Texas; Southern Ionics, Inc.,West
Point, Mississippi and Shannon Chemical Corp., Malvern, Pennsylvania in the above
shown amounts should be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20t' day of
February, 2001.
