WHEREAS, bids were received for the replacement of the fluoridation bulk tank
system at the Water Production Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Progressive Pumps, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$39,935, and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Progressive
Pumps, Houston, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Progressive Pumps, Houston, Texas for the replacement of the
fluoridation bulk tank system at the Water Production Plant in the amount of$39,935 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20th day
of February, 2001.
