WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase and installation of one(l)non-clog
angle pump for use in the Water Reclamation Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Placo, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$81,245; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Placo, Inc.,
Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Placo, Inc., Beaumont,Texas,for the purchase and installation
of one (1) non-clog angle pump for use in the Water Reclamation Plant in the amount of
$81,245 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20th day of
February, 2001.
