The City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas, met in a special session on May 7, 1999, in Room
216 of the Hilton Hotel, 2355 IH-10 South, Beaumont, Texas, at 8:00 a.m. to consider the following:
OPENING
* Roll Call
Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. Present at meeting were Mayor Moore,
Mayor Pro Tern Patterson, Councilmembers Smith, Goodson, Cokinos, Ames, and Davis.
The meeting was recessed to convene in executive session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
* Section 551.074 of the Government Code to deliberate the appointment of a public
officer, specifically the City Manager.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
