WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of approximately 1,440 feet of
polyethylene pipe and adaptors for use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$17,277.30; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coburn Supply,
Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coburn Supply, Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase of
approximately 1,440 feet of polyethylene pipe and adaptors for use by the Water Utilities
Division in the amount of$17,277.30 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
2001.
