WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of approximately 7,800 feet of 20-
inch diameter PVC and polyethylene pipe and associated fittings for use by the Water
Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Hughes Supply, Jasper, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$146,201.50; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Hughes Supply,
Jasper, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Hughes Supply, Jasper, Texas, to purchase approximately
7,800 feet of 20-inch diameter PVC and polyethylene pipe and associated fittings for use
by the Water Utilities Division in the amount of$146,201.50 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the /9 day of
