WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of twelve (12) Self-Contained
Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and air cylinders and the trade-in of twelve (12) obsolete
MSC SCBA units; and,
WHEREAS, Four Alarm Fire Equipment , Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
unit amounts as shown below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Four Alarm Fire
Equipment , Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Four Alarm Fire Equipment , Houston, Texas, in the unit
amounts shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
2001.
