WHEREAS, bids were received for a one (l)-year contract for the purchase of
automotive batteries; and,
WHEREAS, Interstate Batteries submitted a bid in the unit amounts shown below:

The total estimated expenditure is $25,144.27 for the one (1) year contract period; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Interstate
Batteries should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Interstate Batteries in the unit amounts shown above for a total
estimated expenditure of $25,144.27 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
