WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 340 feet of 60-inch diameter
fiberglass pipe and one(1)manhole assembly for use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Industrial Utility Sales Co., Inc. of Houston, Texas submitted a bid in
the amount of$75,400; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Industrial Utility
Sales Co., Inc. of Houston, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Industrial Utility Sales Co., Inc. of Houston, Texas in the
amount of$75,400 for the purchase of 340 feet of 60-inch diameter fiberglass pipe and
one (1) manhole assembly for use by the Water Utilities Division be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
