WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for the purchase of sand
cement for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage and Water Utilities
Divisions; and,
WHEREAS, Trinity Aggregate Distribution submitted a bid in the unit amounts
shown below:
1 Sack I ton 1-1/2 Sack I ton 2 Sack I ton
$9.00 $10.50 $12.00
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Trinity
Aggregate Distribution should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Trinity Aggregate Distribution for an annual contract for the
purchase of sand cement for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage
and Water Utilities Divisions in the unit amounts shown above for an estimated annual
expenditure of $79,500 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
