WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract for construction on the Concord Road
Pavement Widening Project, Phase III, including Travis Drive; and,
WHEREAS, Allco, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $5,538,569.25 for the
Concord Road Pavement Widening Project, Phase III, including Travis Drive; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Allco, Inc.
should be accepted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Allco, Inc. In the amount of$5,538,569.25 be accepted by the
City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for the
Project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19�' day of
2000.
