WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) 5,000 pound capacity,
electric forklift for use at the Civic Center complex; and,
WHEREAS, Southline Equipment, Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of$29,380; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Southline
Equipment, Beaumont, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Southline Equipment, Beaumont, Texas for the purchase of one
(1) 5,000 pound capacity, electric forklift for use at the Civic Center complex in the amount
of$29,380 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
2000.
