WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) directional boring
machine for use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Ditch Witch of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$195,558.59; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Ditch Witch of
Houston, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ditch Witch of Houston, Texas, to purchase one (1) directional
boring machine for use by the Water Utilities Division in the amount of$195,558.59 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 162 day of
