WHEREAS, the claim of Deborah Savant/Lone Star Overnight has been discussed
in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, November 7, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Deborah
Savant/Lone Star Overnight in the amount of Nineteen-Thousand Dollars ($19,000)
payable in the amounts of Eleven-Thousand Six-Hundred Fifty-Three and 14/100
($11,653.14) to Deborah Savant and Seven-Thousand Three-Hundred Forty-Five and
86/100 ($7,345.86) payable to Liberty Mutual.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the aI.Q-t day of
2000.
