WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of six (6) Self-Contained Breathing
Apparatus (SCBA), six (6) air cylinders and the trade-in of six (6) obsolete MSCA SCBA
units for the Beaumont Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Four Alarm Fire Equipment, submitted a bid in the unit amounts shown
below:

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Four Alarm Fire
Equipment should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Four Alarm Fire Equipment for the purchase of six (6) Self-
Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), six (6) air cylinders and the trade-in of six (6)
obsolete MSCA SCBA units for the Beaumont Fire Department in the unit amounts shown
above for a total of$19,950 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
