WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of thirteen (13) mobile and twenty-
eight (28) portable radios for use by the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Lett Electronics, submitted a bid in the amount of$32,117; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lett Electronics,
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lett Electronics in the amount of$32,117 for the purchase of
thirteen (13) mobile and twenty-eight (28) portable radios for use by the Police Department
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 30 77—`'4 day of
2000.
