WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing approximately 500 lunches per
day for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) sponsored by the Parks and
Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Moncla's, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $1.795 per lunch
for a total estimated cost of$43,080 ; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Moncla's,
Inc. is the lowest responsible bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Moncla's, Inc. to furnish approximately 500 lunches per day for
the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) sponsored by the Parks and Recreation
Department in the amount of $1.795 per lunch for a total estimated cost of $43,080 is
hereby accepted.
