WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land as
described on attached Exhibit "A° for the Neighborhood Revitalization Project; and
WHEREAS, this property needs to be conveyed to the Southeast Texas Community
Development Corporation, Inc. for the construction of new homes for the Neighborhood
Revitalization Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to acquire the property and execute
a deed conveying property listed below to the Southeast Texas Community Development
Corporation, Inc. for the construction of new homes for the Neighborhood Revitalization
Project:
Lots 205 and 206, Block 18, Crary Addition
(1134 Avenue B)
Appraised Value: $5,000
Appraiser: Aulbaugh and Associates
Owner: Gethrel Franke
