WHEREAS, Helmerich and Payne, Inc. has requested the City grant an
approximately 1200 foot pipeline easement, out of the Christian Hillebrandt League, as
described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, Helmerich and Payne, Inc. has offered to pay the City $14,540 for the
easement; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the execution of said pipeline
easement and is of the opinion that said pipeline easement is necessary and desirable and
that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute the pipeline easement
as described above to Helmerich and Payne, Inc., for consideration of $14,540.
