WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract to provide collection agency services
for the Cash Management Division's delinquent accounts; and,
WHEREAS, State Municipal Services, Inc., Arlington, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of 19% of collections received per month; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by State Municipal
Services, Inc., Arlington, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by State Municipal Services, Inc., Arlington, Texas, to provide
collection agency services for the Cash Management Division's delinquent accounts for
a one (1) year contract, with the option to renew annually for a period of two additional
years, in the amount of 19% of collections received per month be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
