WHEREAS, the lawsuit of Janie Marie Talmore v. City of Beaumont and Kevin R.
White has been discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held March 7,
2000; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the claim of,Janie Marie
Talmore v. City of Beaumont and Kevin R. White in the amount of Forty-Thousand
($40,000) Dollars.
