WHEREAS bids were received for a five-year financing agreement with a fixed
interest rate for financing the purchase of a Caterpillar D7 dozer authorized by the City
Council on December 21, 1999 at a cost of$275,191; and
WHEREAS, Banc One Leasing Corporation, Corsicana, Texas, submitted a bid at
a fixed rate of 5.73% ; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Banc One
Leasing Corporation, Corsicana, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Banc One Leasing Corporation, Corsicana, Texas at the fixed
rate of 5.73% for the purchase of a Caterpillar D7 dozer be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
