WHEREAS, one bid was received for furnishing a one-year fire, flood and extended
coverage insurance for City-owned property; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool submitted a bid
in the amount of $130,439; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Texas Municipal
League Intergovernmental Risk Pool should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool for
furnishing a one-year fire, flood and extended coverage insurance for City-owned property
in the amount of$130,439 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
