WHEREAS, the Beaumont City Council approved Resolution No. 99-384
authorizing the sale of City-owned surplus property described as part of Lot 21 of the
Frazier Place Addition to J. Warren Fontenot for the sum of Three Thousand Seven
Hundred Fifty-five Dollars ($3,755); and,
WHEREAS, J. Warren Fontenot requested in writing that he be permitted to
withdraw his bid because a zoning change would be required for his intended use of the
property; and,
WHEREAS, Henry Adams submitted the next highest bid in the amount of Two
Thousand Dollars ($2,000);
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City-owned surplus property described as part of Lot 21 of the Frazier Place
Addition be sold to Henry Adams in the amount of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the .7�zfi��day of
