WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of limestone base material for use
by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Trinity Aggregate Distribution submitted a bid in the unit amounts
shown:

Limestone Base, FOB Plant-3150 Hollywood and 1250 E. Florida $10.75/ton
Limestone Base, FOB Jobsite $13.05/ton
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Trinity
Aggregate Distribution in the unit amounts shown should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Trinity Aggregate Distribution for the purchase of limestone
base material in the unit amounts shown be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
