WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) Komatsu PC300LC-6
diesel powered excavator on a crawler type undercarriage ; and,
WHEREAS, Waukesha-Pearce Industries, Inc., Port Arthur, Texas, submitted a bid
in the amount of$230,187; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Waukesha-
Pearce Industries, Inc., should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Waukesha-Pearce Industries, Inc., Port Arthur, Texas, for the
purchase of one (1) Komatsu PC300LC-6 diesel powered excavator on a crawler type
undercarriage in the amount of $230,187, with a guaranteed three (3) year repurchase
price of$162,000 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
