WHEREAS, on January 11, 2000, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
awarded a contract to Neild Construction and Development in the amount of$669,700 for
the construction of a Beaumont Municipal Transit Dannenbaum Station; and,
WHEREAS, during the course of the project, Change Order No. 1 in the amount
of<$170> was approved by Council on September 25, 2000; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 2
in the amount of$184; and,
THAT the project, as stated above, be and the same is herein accepted and the City
Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make final payment in the amount of
$33,660.50 to be paid to Neild Construction and Development.
