WHEREAS, the claim of Clarence and Margorie Guidry has been discussed in an
Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, June 6, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Clarence and
Margorie Guidry in the amounts of Ten-Thousand Dollars ($10,000) payable to Clarence
Guidry and Reaud, Morgan and Quinn, Inc. and Two-Thousand Five-Hundred ($2,500)
Dollars payable to Margorie Guidry and Reaud, Morgan and Quinn, Inc.
